Our Lazy Weekend

Woke up really really late..  so, we decided to have a lazy weekend didn't bother to cook - so, just made ourselves some Har Mee (hoo liao) and went straight to Tesco for grocery shopping as usual.. After all the shopping, I told Khairul that I don't feel like going home.. so, we went ronda-ronda and end up at Bagan Lalang.. waaa, bestnya!  the beach.. (hubby sgt sporting..)
There was sooo many people there.. I was soo NOT suited-ly dressed - pergi pantai pakai heels and jeans.. uwaa! tu la, xplan kan..  The floating houses (Sepang Goldcoast) has started its development already.. Sure terok the pencemaran nanti i tell u!
We sat by the beach with our cendols (nyum nyum) and watched the sunset.. (sigh.. ) Had our dinner at one of the seafood restaurant (the one with the pangkin) I love this restaurant soo much.. They serve really fresh seafood.. We had huge Ikan (ikan apa eh, i lupa) masak cili and Sotong Bakar.. so so yummy!! It's worth every single sen.. 
It was fun having the weekend all to ourselves once in a while..

Our Housewarming Party

We had our housewarming party 2 weeks ago (12th July) It was supposed to be a small getogether with our families and close friends, but it ended becoming a huge party.. macam kenduri la! We set up 3 bbq pit (last minute beli kat Tesco - the one with the cover is sooo cool and handy!) There were sooo much food as everyone brought along some food.. There were bbq chicken, ikan bakar, udang bakar, kerang bakar, pasta, black pepper beef, the famous roti John from Ampang, lots of sate Kajang, kuih akok, mee hoon, karipaps, fruits, ice-cream, cakes from Bandung, and the list goes on and on...
Both Khairul and my family was there with baby Mimi.. with my nephews.. my baybehs, Shyra, Hubby & adorable baby Haziq, Aleen, Shasha.. (Naryna couldn't make it!), Khairul's friends PG and the newlyweds Farid & Ida (they brought their wedding album for us to see - nice wedding photos!), Khairul and my aunties, uncles and cousins.. So so ramai org! Thank god the house can fit all of them.. Parking baik punya, 10 cars can fit our yard!! The party was at the back of the house, very laid back concept - we bentang tikar and everyone just sat there and talk and talk and talk and ate non-stop..
The party ended at 1.30am.. So tiring.. Khairul and I took the whole whole Sunday cleaning the house.. Penat wei..  Other than that, it was really fun! Will have another party soon.. hihii..

The Arrival of New Curtains =)

Can't wait for the new curtains to arrive this weekend.. =) Specially tailor-made by Tara House, Subang Jaya - Dane is the best in this business. His curtains can last more than 10 years.. He's like the next Eric Leong - but I've known him waaaayyyyyyyy longer than Eric. I still think Dane is the best. The proof is his home - really beautiful, very English & Victorian like - as if living in Cameron Highlands. His shop in Subang Jaya is sooo beautifully put together. Go and pay Dane a visit - everyone should!

DERHAKA PADA SUAMI?

Hihi.. Maybe?
I have a really bad habit.. I nie kalau menguap, memang puas ati.. nganga sepuas-puasnya (tapi cover mulut ye...) sampai mata berair2 macam lepas menangis.. Khairul always advised me to tahan menguap - meaning "telan menguap" tu.. i tried but memang x puas la.. hahah.. i followed his advice for a while, but then slowly got back to my ugly habit.. waaa, kepuasannya!! heheh.. Khairul pun dah x larat nak advice lagi dah... biarkan je!
And, guess what happened? My right jaw (rahang) kinda got injured.. i'm guessing it got snapped and now everytime I ternganga besar2, there's a slight "pop" can be heard.. sakit gak! sampai ke telinga.. huhu... sakitlah.. Khairul kata I kene "hamstring".... ligamen terkoyak.. hahahah, menyampah i! tula pasal, derhaka pada suami lagi, x dengar cakap.. huhuhu Malu giler nak pergi klinik sorang2, sure kene gelakkan - am waiting for Khairul to bring me.. heheheh..

Our Weekend : Wedding - Sepi

Last Saturday, Khairul and I went all the way to Temerloh to attend a friend's wedding, FARID. Khairul's friend, PG slept over at our place the night before. (awal-awal dah rasmi...) and Azrul from Keramat tag along. The wedding was very simple and nice and was held at Kompleks PDRM. The bride & groom wore green. This is by far the furthest we (Khairul and I) have gone after we got married.. funny kan?
On Sunday, regardless of the never-ending house chores to do (cleaning, ironing, gardening?), Khairul and I went to Alamanda for lunch and a movie, SEPI.. (The movie seat is really comfortable - rasa nak terlelap daa) We actually got terpengaruh by PG and Azrul's comment on the film that we have to watch it ourselves.. Well, the movie was really good. I thought it was a bit too slow and predictable. But i simply loved the love story between ADAM and ILYANA.. Sweet! There were parts in the movie that made me cry.. (haha.. cariklah sendiri) Dunno la why sooo emotional sekarang nie.. Khairul as usual, were laughing out loud when he found out I was sobbing.. cit, apa dah!!
After movie, as usual la.. GROCERY SHOPPING at Carrefoure! only this time, both of us are planning to eat healthily (saranan Kerajaan kan.. hahahah.. nolah, masing2 dah overweight ni).. so, the stuff that we bought yesterday was kinda odd.. (oat, soya bean milk.. u know, all those healthy food) After grocery shopping, we went shoe shopping at Clarks.. Both of us bought a pair each.. very costly shoes but indeed it's worth every sen.. they're sooo comfy!!
Back from all the shopping, we stopped by at Kedai Kopi in Shah Alam (by the lake) for dinner.. Khairul loves the mee bandung.. seriously sedap! (and pedas...) Me, on the other hand, who is less adventurous opt for a Nasi Goreng Melayu.. heheheh...
Got home, had a shoe catwalk for a while.. (hahahah, giler kan?) and off to bed.. (tired)

One Year
|

Today is 7th of July 2008.. one year ago, at this very date, I was engaged to Khairul Aswari bin Abdul Rased. Can't believe that time passes sooo quickly nowadays..
This fotopages, believe it or not - is almost one years old! The real reason I started this is for Shasha and Naryna (they're in Australia at that time) to view my engagement photos. Senang la i thought, just upload here.. but then, later on, I started to post regular updates about the wedding preparations - and mostly nonsense je - hehe.. and i slowly developed some silent readers that eventually become my friends.. After Shasha and Naryna got back from Australia, i thought of stopping - but my new friends insisted that I continue.. (nak jugak orang baca bebelan i ehhh?)
I hope u guys enjoy my fotopages.. as much as I do updating it!
