Funny but TRUE..

Wanna know something tak? During my wedding reception at Khairul's I couldn't wear my ring.. why? because my ring finger was stung by some sort of an insect.. sakit sgt!
It happened 2 nights before the event.. I was at Khairul's parent's home in Kajang.. helping out with the bunga telur with his Wan.. we were watching tv (AF6 repeat to be exact) when suddenly i felt a sharp pain on my finger.. when i looked at my finger, i saw this huge unidentified insect on my finger busy stingging me.. adoi, sakitnya! i dah terjerit2 and trying to push away the insect.. xboleh, because die tengah gigit.. xjatuh2 pun! i had to pull it off to get it away from me.. adoi, sakit die xpayah cakap la.. i was screaming in pain and jumping in front of everybody (wat malu je menantu macam nie.. malunye i, depan Wan lagi..  ) Khairul ran to my aid.. ingatkan apa dah jadi? Within minutes, my finger was swollen.. rasa denyut2 je at my ring finger tu.. sakitnya! sapulah minyak panas bagi surut and went to sleep early.. (weeping)
The next day, my swollen hands had affected to the back of my palms.. nampak kembang je my hands tu.. painful sgt2! but i xnak trouble anyone, so i just kept quite and sapu minyak panas only - hoping the swelling will go down.. 'coz we were busy preparing for kenduri aqiqah Mimi (Khairul's younger's sister's baby girl) malam tu..
The next day (The wedding reception), my palms were already huge.. rasa numb sgt.. Had no choice but to go ahead with the wedding reception.. Just don't think about the pain - i told myself! But it was tough when everyone will "salam" the pengantin.. adoi, sakit sangat2! Rasa nak pengsan je.. (tapi pandai tak i cover sakit.. hehehe...) **Shyra has pix of my swollen finger during my wedding
Right after the wedding reception, Khairul and I rushed to the clinic.. So funny - Me, with my hair all done and with makeup on, just changed into a baju kurung.. hihi.. the doctor siap usik i lagi, saying "Kesian, pengantin kene sengat!".. malunye i.. To make the swelling go down, i had to get an injection.. huhu, sakit sangat.. 
It took quite some time for my finger to recover.. While we were honeymooning, there were a bit swelling still.. Alhamdulillhah, a few days after that, my finger is fine.. and I'm happy that I can wear my wedding ring again.. hihiihi...

False Alarm =(

I've been having headaches and "keloyaan" recently.. and i am constantly hungry.. kejap2 lapar.. Khairul pun dah naik pelik with my condition.. and i recently developed a slight "tummy" - that doesn't help either.. iskh, apa dah jadi nie? Khairul became really2 curious, so yesterday we went to the clinic for a check-up (not suspecting anything..)
The doctor asked a few questions and did a few tests.. heheheh.. malunya nak cakap.. she even make me sit for the pregnancy test.. but the result is negative.. =( she said it's too soon to say.. (told me to come back for a re-test... uuuuu)
At last, this is what she concluded : I was having gastric problems.. quite severe till it effected my tummy, my throat and my head.. tu yg jadi pening2, loya2.. hahaha.. so funny when u come to think of it.. FALSE ALARM!!

Our New (Messy) Home =)

It's been almost a week in the new house.. and we haven't clear all the boxes yet! arggghhhh, eveytime i see them, i'll just cover my eyes and walk pass them.. adoi, biler la nak kemas nie?
the house is soo big for the two of us.. our furnitures which we bought previously to suit our small apartment looks really tiny now.. hahah... any decorating tips anyone?  the house have soo many unoccupied rooms.. (anyone interested to rent a room? hahahah) another thing is, the new house have sooooooooo many windows (biasalah rumah kuarters style lama..) am looking for new ready-made curtains to cover up the windows.. i am soo into curtains now, dunno why but i love curtains..  next, to look for some plants to brigthen up the lawn.. waaaa... macam2 idea ada dalam kepala nie..
i really hope that we can manage to clear the mess and make it a comfortable home for the two of us really really soon....

The Honeymoon

Yup, i know.. u guys have been hinting for details since I got back.. Purposely don't wanna talk about the trip.. heheh.. ok, here it goes..
We went for our honeymoon days after the wedding at Khairul's side.. We drove to Kuala Kedah jetty in the early morning and took the ferry to Langkawi.. We were lucky to have met an ustaz at the masjid nearby.. I can't remember his name though.. But the masjid was Masjid India, near the jetty. He offered us a parking space at the masjid (the fee will be donated to the masjid) and even arranged our transportation in Langkawi. A WIRA Auto.. Bagus la this guy!
The ferry ride was almost 2 hours.. It rained so heavily, the waves are so strong.. takut la jugak. But because dah penat sgt, Khairul and I slept in the ferry all the way.. siap snoring lagi.. hahah When we arrived there, the person that was supposed to greet us and provide our transportation was there waiting for us.. He took us to the car, provide us with maps and recommendations on must-visit places..
We stayed at Holiday Villa for 3 nights.. really nice. Because it was not on a peak season, there were not many people except for some Mat Sallehs and Pak Arab. (scary-lah asyik bump into purdahs. **my phobia) It rained everyday during our vacation.. But redah je pagi2 dalam hujan mandi laut.. Best sangat!!
We shop a lot during our stay in Langkawi.. memang kaki shopping dua-dua.. Visited a few places and even did a video konon2 macam travel host. hahaha.. really funny..  Poyo la we all nie! I am so saddened that we did not get the chance to ride on the cable car - because of the heavy rain.. (a reason to go back to Langkawi !)
Overall the vacation was really enjoyable.. It was a much needed vacation for the both of us as we were exhausted with all the wedding preparations and wedding ceremonies, etc, etc.. I would say it was a FUN and MEMORABLE vacation with a great companion by my side..
Can't wait for the next trip...

My 4-days course in Hulu Selangor was really fun but tiring with its packed programmes.. it was kinda adventurous la, treasure hunt la, macam2 la.. we stayed in a chalet by the river in the jungle.. so not my cup of tea! On the 3rd day, it rained so heavily for 3 hours non stop. The river was overflowing.. serious, macam tsunami! U can see trees falling and being carried away by the strong current.. I was so scared.. So, went day 4 came, i was excited to go home.. until they announced that everyone have to go for jungle trekking before heading home.. alamak! macam mana nak lari nie..
there were a few "mak-ciks" that are exempted from going because they have some health issues.. in my mind, i was thinking of what alasan to tell them.. alaaa, cakap je sakit? but sakit apa? so, when it came to my turn, the renjer asked whether i'll be joining them, i replied, EMMM, XKOT! He asked me KENAPA? I simply said, EMMM, HUSBAND SAYA X KASI.. (**memang kerol x kasi pun coz i penah jatuh from mountain climbing in Gunung Lambak in 2006) He looked at me and say, KENAPA? DAH ADA ISI KE? I was shocked by that answer, but managed to say.. EMMM, XTAU LA, X CHECK LAGI.. TAPI MANALAH TAU.. hahahahh, jahat kan i nie? The renjer said, KALAU MACAM TU, XPAYAH LA JOIN.. DUDUK JE KAT SINI.. Yeay, i got exempted from going as well... i tersangat suka!!!! X sangka they fell for it.. hihi..
Thank god i did not join the jungle trekking, coz everyone who went for it kena gigit by all those pacats.. eeeeeeee, geli!

We Have Moved!

We are now officially Shah Alam residents.. Just moved in to our quarters last Saturday.. Thank u family and friends for lending a hand.. appreciate it soo much! Moving is sooo tiring and i'm exhausted! Plus I had to go for a 4-days leadership course in Hulu Selangor just before we moved.. Memang xkena the timing la..
So far, the house is not so bad, it is sooo huge.. have to shout Khairul's name so that he can hear me from the back.. (imagine that!) Hmmm, the house is still very messy and not organised yet.. I guess it will take time la till we can finally call it a home..

Surprises after Marriage..

Life after marriage is full of surprises. For an example, I only found out that i can COOK! And i'm not too bad at that.. hehe.. Believe it or not, i prepare dinner everynight (isteri mithali nie.. ) Hilang penat and sangat2 puas hati to see Kerol berselera makan my cooking, although i know it's not that good.. (compared to his mom who is a terrific cook!)
Another thing i am not quite fond of is IRONING.. i hate it! Mens' clothes are the hardest to iron.. Memang bertekad nak beli the steam iron - not home use tu tau, but the ones retail stores use tu.. Jusco ade jual tak? hahahah...
