Nikah!

Woke up really early untuk solat subuh.. doa panjang2 mohon ketenangan masa nikah nanti..  At 7.45am, Kak Laily from Butik Chantek arrived.. makeup session took place.. waaa, best sgt2!! at that time, i was surprisingly calm.. till i got a call at 9.30am saying Khairul has arrived at the surau since 9.00am.. gosh, terus start berdebar balik.. dup dap dup dap.. at that time, there is no expression whatsoever on my face.. kesian my photographer, puas suruh i senyum, but i just couldn't.. 
At around 9.45am, off we went to the surau.. it's just a 10 minutes drive from home.. (less than that kot..) when i arrived there, my sis Fara told me to wait at the bilik pengantin.. Haaa, this is something i have to give credit to.. Fyi, there is a bilik imam at the surau - used during bulan Ramadhan. The AJK surau has transformed the bilik imam into a beautiful bilik pengantin.. serious, lawa sgt!! and sooo wangi.. hmmmmm... And just for the record, Khairul and I are the FIRST couple to have the nikah ceremony at that surau.. (boleh masuk Malaysia's Book of Records.. hehe)
After waiting for quite a bit in the beautiful room, i was called out.. Ya Allah, Tuhan je la yang tau how nervous i was.. I told Aleen to be by my side the entire time for support - manalah tau i pengsan ke.. hahaha.. (drama drama..) So, it started la.. speeches by the imam.. and then the lafaz nikah rehearsel by Khairul.. and then.. jeng,jeng,jeng... THE LAFAZ NIKAH.. Al-hamdulillah.. dengan sekali lafaz, i'm the WIFE to Khairul Aswari b. Abd. Rased.  did i cry? yup... i cried during the bacaan taklik... i can no longer tahan my tears..  btw, it was tears of joy ye..
Photography session took place at the bilik pengantin afterwards with family and friends.. I got the "naughtiest" and "most cheeky" photographer ever... macam2 pose la he suruh buat.. (eg. laga hidung la, gigit telinga la.. ) hahaha...
We had a small makan-makan at the surau.. Berselera betol i makan! So relieved that everything is over.. After the whole ceremony was over, Khairul and his family pun berangkat balik to their home.. and my family and i to our place.. still can't believe that i am married at that time.. still in a daze...

The night before..

My photos are not quite ready yet!! These are some pix of the night before nikah from Aleen's camera.. check out the henna! nice kan? masa nie memang tengah berdebar-debar sgt.. cannot even sleep.. (mind the eyebags during the nikah..)
My sis, Fara and her boys, and my cousin, Sacha dropped by to have a look at the hantaran.. semua dah siap for the next day... the hantaran is self decorated by family and friends in pink and white theme.. sweet sgt2!! Aleen came by later at 9.30pm to help out on the final touches for the hantaran.. thanks baybeh!! Borak-borak till almost 1am before Aleen balik and me struggling to get some sleep.. huhu, berdebar giler...

A new home, perhaps?

Alhamdulillah, I got offered a government quarters yesterday.. Initially i was waiting for the brand new 5 room apartment to be ready in November.. Instead i got offered this 4 room banglo.. (Yes Aleen, the one u stayed before...) Both quarters are in Shah Alam - very near for me to go to work, but very very far for Khairul to travel all the way to Bangi everyday.. Am planning to have a look at the banglo this week to decide on whether to take it or not.. (since we are already renting an apartment in Subang)
4 rooms = more CLEANING? adoi...

I'm Exhausted!

Yesterday was my first day back to work.. Terasa la sgt malas and very tired.. If i were to lay my head on a pillow, sure tertido.. still tired la from all the wedding preparations, wedding ceremonies, kenduris, bertandangs and shopping spree in Langkawi.. Non stop since nikah!!  I want ANOTHER long holiday la!!! Part of the exhaustion is from doing housework i guess.. (before this x biasa maaa..) penat jugak la nak masak, do laundry, ironing, cleaning.. waaa, i'm still getting used to this.. but Khairul dear has been really great, helping out here and there.. Thank God.. Gimme a couple of months for me to get used to the rhythm...

I'm BACK!

Hey All! I'm back from my very long vacation... honestly, it does not feel long to me! hehe.. How do i feel as a WIFE? Seriously, it's a new experience to me.. but i am very very happy.. there's a feeling of completeness in my life..
I'm back at the office today.. adoi! Meeting has been scheduled at 11am.. huhu..
Will definitely give u the updates of my wedding and marriage life later..

Ordered a big box of chocolate brownies from my colleague today for a small "makan-makan" at the office. Something sweet to start my new life with.. and just a fun way to treat all my staff..

All Planned OUT

This is my planned out schedule :
SATURDAY - final fitting 
SUNDAY - spa session @ Tini 's Spa with big sis, Fara
MONDAY - get the dulang + alas dulang for the hantaran, telur, stuff for bunga rampai, etc.
TUESDAY - visit to my house, get it ready, move some stuff in, etc
WEDNESDAY - get henna done
THURSDAY - start gubah the hantarans (with help from family + friends)
FRIDAY - NIKAH!!!!!!!!!!!
SATURDAY - rehearsel + wedding reception

Yesterday, i found Shyra + Zul's wedding video while i was cleaning the mess in my room in the office.. Decided to watch it during luch time.. Starting from the preparation, nikah, bersanding till the reception at the club.. There was a part during the nikah that i felt butterflies in my stomache, my hands were iced cold and i was trying hard NOT to cry.. it was (and still is) soo emotional! Note to self : MUST make a copy for Khairul, hahahah..
I can't imagine how my nikah and the rest of the ceremony will be like.. I am such a cry-baby! Habis my makeup nanti.. 
Spoke to Shyra on the phone last night.. she assured me that everything will be OK. (i really need that baybeh!) I truly hope so too.. I really really hope that everything will be A-OK, smooth and as planned...AMIN

Malasnye... nak pergi KEJE!

Lately, i am sooo malas to get up and head to the office.. sooo malas! No mood to work.. And it does not help that work is slowly piling up.. The same goes for Khairul. Our minds has already been set to "get-married and go-holiday" mode! hahahahah.. We kept sms-ing each other during office-hour complaining about work.. hahaha!
This is my last week being "single" in the office.. I'll be on leave for 3 weeks afterwards.. Khairul still have a a week to work before he goes for leave.. UUUWaaaa, malasnye nak keje!

Friday to Sunday

Took the Friday off to do our fitting.. Can't wait to wear the baju on that special day.. The baju fit Khairul well.. no need to do much alterations.. But i will have to come again later next weekend for a final fitting.. adush, penat tol.. (sebab dah kurus kot! hahaha... )
On Saturday, stop by the tailor's to pick up my baju.. dah siap! Semua baju batik - for office wear.. Then, went to Kompleks Shah Alam with mummy and Amin.. Bought ribbons, bunga manggar siap, and a Mr. Bean teddy bear for Amin Back home, my sis Fara and Ida began decorating the baskets for the flower girls, making tassels for the kompangs and lilit-ing the songkoks with ribbons.. So pretty! Looks like everyone is sooo eager for the wedding.. Can't wait!
On Sunday, went to get more of the vip gifts from Eliza.. And, guess what?! Khairul's family will be spending a night at our new house the night before nikah.. takut lewat sampai coz they have to travel so far from Bangi, and soo early in the morning for that day.. So, bought some essential items for the house, and did a little spring cleaning.. talk about pressure! must be sparkling clean i tell u.. to impress them! hahaha... At night, sms-ed a few guest for their confirmation.. Everything is almost done!
